The Texas Sports Hall of Fame in Waco is throwing an incredibly exciting event called the Legends of Texas Whiskey Festival on Saturday, February 17th, 2024. This first of its kind Texas whiskey festival is taking place near downtown Waco - and you do NOT want to miss it!
This festival is all about celebrating awesome Texas whiskey (and hanging out with some famous sports stars) on February 17, 2024, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
A Night to Remember
This festival is going to be amazing. They're expecting over 350 people to come and try whiskey from nearly two dozen of the best distillers in Texas. Plus, you'll get to hang out with some of the greatest athletes from Texas. It's a massive, 3-hour party for whiskey lovers and sports fans.
Assuming this is their inaugural event, the Legends of Texas Whiskey Festival is likely to become one of the coolest annual Texas whiskey festivals in the state. You don't want to miss the first one!
What's Happening at the Festival?
Whether you love trying new whiskeys or want to meet some sports legends, there's something for you in Waco, Texas on February 17th. You can taste more than 40 exclusive, limited-edition whiskeys, learn how they're made, and even join in on special whiskey-tasting classes.
They're also setting up a cigar lounge and giving VIP ticket holders early access and some extra special treats like free valet parking, exclusive VIP distillery tour(s), and more.

General tickets are $125; if you want the VIP experience, it's $175. Since there's only a limited number of tickets, you should buy yours soon if you want to go. Oh, and (of course) you have to be 21 or older to join the fun.

Who's Going to Be At The Legends of Texas Whiskey Festival?
Around 20 of the top-rated whiskey makers from Texas will be there, bringing over 40 different whiskeys to try. Some of the distillers include Fierce Whiskers Distillery, Devils River Whiskey, Lockwood Distilling Company, Ironroot Republic Distilling, and of course the distinguished, Waco-born Balcones Distilling.
You know the whiskey is going to be good!
But there will be some special guests (undisclosed), too; rumor has it that some VIPs from the sports world will pop in for this special whiskey event.
Not Just About Whiskey
Besides whiskey, there will be tasty hors d'oeuvres, Texas-made cigars from Honeycomb Cigars to try, and live Jazz music from Jon Fox, a well-known guitarist from Waco. You might even win a bunch of Texas whiskeys!

The event is business casual, so dress nicely but comfortably.
